PensionDanmark is among the largest pension funds in Denmark based on premiums and members. PensionDanmark is the third largeste pension funds in Denmark and one of the 50 largest pension funds in Europe.

In terms of assets, PensionDanmark is the third largest labor-market pension fund in Denmark as well as the fifth largest company in the life insurance – and pension industry sector.

PensionDanmark is thoroughly consolidated; by the end of 2016, the capital base amounted to EUR 0.5bn, with an estimated required regulatory capital of EUR 0.13bn, giving PensionDanmark significant excess solvency.
