Kim Nielsen
Head of Alternative Investments
Kim joined PensionDanmark Alternative Investments in 2011 initially working on direct equity transactions but has since 2014 managed the Private Debt team, focusing on both fund investments and direct lending activities. Kim has a background from the Treasury Department within DONG Energy being in charge of loan capital markets and credit rating management. Prior to that Kim worked for a Nordic real estate asset manager Proark/Ejendomsinvest. Kim holds a MCs in Finance and Accounting from Copenhagen Business School.
Lasse Thigaard
Investment Director, Direct Equity
Lasse joined PensionDanmark Alternative Investments in 2010 and has played an active role in developing and implementing PensionDanmark’s strategy for direct infrastructure investments which remains his focus. Lasse has a background in investment management at Proark/EjendomsInvest and in client advisory at Gartner in UK. He holds a master’s degree in Applied Economics and Finance from Copenhagen Business School.
Peter Martin Larsen
Investment Director, Direct Equity
Peter joined PensionDanmark Alternative Investments in 2013 and focuses on direct equity investments primarily in infrastructure. Prior to that he spent eight years in London working with infrastructure investments at PwC and Macquarie Capital focusing on M&A, valuations, strategy, asset management and business planning in a wide range of infrastructure sectors. Peter holds Masters Degrees in Finance and Economics from the London School of Economics as well as the University of Copenhagen.
Mads Lerche Iversen
Investment Director, Direct Equity
Mads joined PensionDanmark Alternative Investments in 2016 and is focusing on direct equity investments primarily in the infrastructure space. Mads has a background from the Direct Investments team within the Danish pension fund ATP where he has been lead on a number of infrastructure related transactions as well as other direct equity investments. Prior to that Mads worked for the M&A & Partnerships Department within DONG Energy. Mads holds a Master Degree in Economics and Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School.
Heidi Hjelm Kamstrup
Investment Director, Direct Equity
Heidi joined PensionDanmark Alternative Investments in 2019 and is focusing on direct equity investments. Heidi has a background from PwC’s Corporate Finance team where she has spent almost nine years, including two in London, advising corporates and investors on a large number of transactions across various sectors. Heidi holds a Master Degree in Finance from Aarhus School of Business.
Daniel Mølgaard

Daniel joined PensionDanmark Alternative Investments in 2018 and is focusing on direct equity investments. Daniel has a background from Deloitte as a Manager within Transaction Service advisory, where he has been advising on a large number of transactions for private equity funds, corporates and pension funds across various sectors including infrastructure related transactions. Prior to that, Daniel worked in the Audit department within Deloitte. Daniel holds a Master Degree in Business Economics and Auditing from Copenhagen Business School.

Jonas joined PensionDanmark Alternative Investments in 2018 and is focusing on direct equity investments. Jonas has a background from Deloitte as a Assistant Director within Transaction Service advisory, where he has been advising on a large number of transactions for both corporate and private equity funds across various sectors . Prior to that, Jonas worked in the Audit department within EY. Jonas holds a Master Degree in Business Economics and Auditing from Copenhagen Business School.
Jan Lyng Christensen

Jan joined PensionDanmark Alternative Investments in 2015 and is focused on Private Fund investment primarily within buyouts and distressed/special situations. His background includes nine years of experience from Danske Private Equity, where he was involved in buyout fund investments as well as five years with KPMG, where he worked with corporate finance and M&A advisory assignments. Jan holds a master's degree in Finance and Accounting from Copenhagen Business School.
Andreas Aagaard Nielsen

Andreas joined PensionDanmark Alternative Investments in 2018 and is focusing on Private Fund investments primarily within buyouts and distressed/special situations. His background includes five years of experience from The Danish Growth Fund/Danish Growth Capital, where he was involved in buyout and venture fund investments as well as three years with NNIT, where he worked as a Business Analyst. Andreas holds a master's degree in Finance and Accounting from Copenhagen Business School.
Rune Gade Holm

Rune joined PensionDanmark Alternative Investments in 2012 initially working on direct equity transactions but has since 2014 been part of the Private Debt team, primarily focusing on direct lending activities in various parts of the capital structure. Rune has a background in corporate finance and M&A advisory from Handelsbanken Capital Markets and Clearwater International with broad transaction experience across small- mid and large-cap transactions. Rune holds a MSc in Economics from Aarhus University.
Line Schougaard Permin
Senior Investment Manager, Private Debt
Line joined PensionDanmark Alternative Investments in 2016 and is part of the Private Debt team, primarily focusing on direct lending activities in various parts of the capital structure. Line comes from a position at the Loan Capital Markets department in Danske Bank, where she worked with private equity financing and lending to large corporates. Prior to that Line worked for Gudme Raaschou Asset Management within Lån & Spar Bank. Line holds a MSc in Finance and Strategic Management from Copenhagen Business School.
Frederik Dømler
Senior Investment Manager, Private Debt
Frederik joined PensionDanmark Alternative Investments in 2017 and is part of the Private Debt team, primarily focusing on credit fund investments. He joins from a position as Portfolio Manager at SEB Pension. In this role, he assumed responsibility for illiquid investment with particular focus on private credit. Frederik holds an MSc.in Finance and Strategic Management from Copenhagen Business School and a LLM from Warwick University.

Mikkel joined PensionDanmark Alternative Investments in 2018 and is part of the Private Debt team, primarily focusing on direct lending activities in various parts of the capital structure. He joins from a position as Senior Associate at PwC Transaction Services, where he worked on financial due diligence assignments on a wide range of companies. Mikkel holds an MSc in Applied Economics and Finance from Copenhagen Business School.
Christian Nicolai Riise-Knudsen
General Counsel, Alternative Investments
Christian joined PensionDanmark Alternative Investments in 2016 and focuses on the legal aspects of the direct equity and credit investments as well as the investments in private funds. Christian has a legal background in corporate and M&A advisory from Gorrissen Federspiel and broad transaction experience across sectors and small- mid and large-cap transactions, including identifying transaction structures, due diligence procedures, drafting documents and implementing transactions. Christian holds a master’s degree in law from University of Copenhagen and was admitted to the Danish bar association in 2008.
Peter Staudt
Asset Manager, Asset Management
Peter joined PensionDanmark Alternative Investments in 2013 and is focusing on the day-to-day asset management of the investment portfolio. Peter has worked for Ernst & Young Transaction Advisory Services for three years, mainly within valuation and financial modelling. He spent another four years at the Danish utility company DONG Energy, creating analyses, models and forecasts for the power division. Peter holds a master’s degree in Finance and Strategic Management from Copenhagen Business School.
